Radeon 8500 LE 128Mb Dual head

I have been trying for some time to get dual head working on my 5.1 Release 
system, however with little succes.

From what I have read it is possible to do this in Linux using the XFree86 
radeon driver and the kernel radeon driver ( as opposed to using the ati 
released binary driver ) and from what it have seen it should be possible to 
get this to work in FreeBSD. 

Has anyone been succesful in setting this up? If so please give me some tips.
