Sound problems on VAIO SR1K

Hiya

I'm running 4.8-RELEASE on a VAIO SR1K and I'm having problems getting
the sound to work. I do actually get sound output but it's very slow
and distorted, regardless of the volume level.

Here's my dmesg:

I've removed drivers I don't need from the kernel and have no modules
loaded. Has anyone else had this problem, or have any ideas on how
to fix it?

Cheers,
