Moz 1.3 on FreeBSD 5.1 Huge fonts

Hi.
I've setup a box running FreeBSD 5.1, installed some apps and mozilla
1.3 from /usr/ports/www/mozilla
It ran well, so I downloaded the correct (yes, sure) language pack from
mozilla.org (franch language pack) and installed it as root.
Next time I ran moz, Every test were huge (web pages, menu, dialog box)
I removed the package, built and installed it again (quite long), no
changes.
I haven't made many changes at this point, just build a GENERIC kernel
added NVidia drivers.
I've seen some hints on google about X fonts (put 75dpi at the top of
the list in XF86Config) and such, but none helped.
When I commented 75dpi and 100dpi, It felt to some other fonts but still
too big to be usable.
Has someone any hints?
