PhD vacancy - Core ILNP

For immediate start, there is a vacancy for a PhD student to work
on the implementation of a prototype of ILNP:

Applicants should be excellent C programmers, with kernel-level 
development experience, ideally in FreeBSD (the platform for the
ILNP implementation), but those with similar experience in Linux
may be considered. Applicants should be able to demonstrate excellent
knowledge of IP networking.

Applicants should normally have at least a first class Honours
Bachelors degree or equivalent, (e.g. USA GPA 3.75) in Computer
Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical
Engineering, or a closely related topic.

This position is supported by a donation from Cisco, and is
fully funded (covering fees, and a stipend of ~GBP15K p/a)
for upto 42 months, the expected duration of the PhD.
