I talked to Ken, and he suggested that the simplest solution was to poke your downstream mirrors to switch to rsync first.

Otherwise we need to do some hack were you sync the checkouts file from ftp-master and use that... which is probably more trouble than it's worth...

So, I would suggest that you keep using cvsup until all your mirrors have switched, or on June 1st - whatever comes first.

PS. when you switch you should use the FreeBSD-master rsync collection to avoid getting locked out if ftp-master is busy - I think I have added you to the ACL for that now.
