vala-0.30.2 > vala-0.34.13 upgrade

Hello,

Vala is currently at 0.30.2, last updated 2016-07-26. 

I needed vala-0.34 to compile a program. I installed vala-0.34.13 via ports (with attached patch) and it worked fine with FreeBSD 11.1. 
I also built from ports gnome3-lite using vala-0.34.13 and everything compiled and works fine.

Are there any plans on upgrading vala soon?
