You haven't provided full make log, and you don't have mail/evolution
installed (guessing on your var-db-pkg.ls). Try manually removing
evolution and evolution-2.* binaries from /usr/local/bin/ and use
portsclean -C to be sure there's no cruft left after previous builds
(either of these can be the reason why check for evolution install
succeeds even if you don't have it installed).
