Firefox 0.9 seem to end in endless loop *bad*

I used portupgrade to upgrade Firefox 0.8 to 0.9.

When I ran the result it asked if it should import settings from FB 0.8. I
told
it to do so. After which it started to spat out same error messages all
over:

If I remove every plugin from /usr/X11R6/lib/browser_plugins/ it just
repeats
this line:
*** loading the extensions datasource

I tried to search the web for solution and came by to a blog that said
removing
configuration directories would help (that person was probably on OSX).
It didnt't help me.
This is highly unfortunate.

Any solutions? Reply to lauri.jarvenpaa at students.turkuamk.fi instead of
this
address. If this even gets sent..
