The tarball was provided only as a placeholder and its interim to run
"./autogen.sh"
it is not necessary on an official release which comprises of "./configure" .

In-fact argp-standalone is the one tested and blessed (since one
cannot guarantee
what a FreeBSD port might diverge into)
