Yeah, I know :-)

I wasn't talking about documenting *what* the daemon image is but about
documenting the way to disable its appearance during boot time.  Perhaps
I didn't make myself as clear as I thought.

I fully agree.

A company spends a lot of money to "reeducate the masses" about their
logos, their characteristics signs and any other thing that can be
considered a public relations asset.  Changing the logo of an existing
project is a very bad move, IMHO.  New projects do, of course, have the
luxury of picking their new logos :-)

Anyway, I don't mean this to be yet another revival of the dirty old
thread.  It just felt like asking if this particular detail of the boot
loader should or should not be documented somewhere.
