I'm using the NTFS kernel option. I think the problem lies in the line
bread(vp, cn, ntfs_cntob(1), NOCRED, &bp);
of ntfs_vnops.c. We should be reading bigger blocks.
Thanks for the suggestion, I'll try the port.
