I don't know. The author of linuxpluginwrapper first has to make himself
familiar with symbol versioning.

When I commit the new linux_base, it will not be the new default. And before
we can use it, we first have to convert the linux-gtk (and other) to the
USE_LINUX_RPM infrastructure (patches welcome).
