Thank you very much. I took the list of your patch and made cut -d -f 2 and 
put the result in fonts.dir and fonts.scale. Now I don't have any error 
message anymore.
This patch really should by commited to RELENG_5 before -release imho.
I also have a gettext oddity, but I have to do more investigation (tomorrow).
