This is a 5.2.1 mini install ISO downloaded today. The Laptop is a 1.3
Ghz Centrino with 30GB drive, broadcom Ethernet, Intel 2100 Mini PCI
wlan, 30Gb drive, ATI Mobilty Radeon 9000 graphics.
When I select the default boot:
It goes through much of the hardware detection and freezes at:
Timecounters tick every 10.000 msec
ata0-master: WARNING - ATA_IDENTIFY interrupt was seen but taskqueue
stalled LBA=0
With ACPI disabled it is much the same with a few more errors before it
hangs:
unknown: <PNP0303> can't assign resources (port)
unknown: <PNP0f13> can't assign resources (irq)
unknown: <PNP0501> can't assign resources (port)
fdc1: cannot reserve I/O port range (1 ports)

Timecounter "TSC" frequency 1298903370 Hz quality 800
Timecounters tick every 10.000 msec
ata0-master: WARNING - ATA_IDENTIFY interrupt was seen but taskqueue
stalled LBA=0
In safe mode I get the same errors as above.
With verbose logging I get:
Timecounters tick every 10.000 msec
lo0: bpf attached
ata1: spurious interrupt - status=0x00 error=0x01

Varous Linux Distros work fine on this Laptop, and so does FreeBSD 4.9.
Ideas? Solutions? Thoughts? Any other info I could provide to help
fix this?
Thanks
