Excellent. Clone is running now, into a private home directory.
There was a little confusion about the "main" vs "master" branch
naming. "Master" seems to work, I expected "main" to be the 
correct term.

Sze estimates for deep and shallow clones might be helpful for
small-system users, perhaps with a comparison to svnlite behavior.

Has it become possible to build as a regular user, saving root for
installation only?
