I saw something similar, but it didn't panic:

I think perhaps FreeBSD-CURRENT is a bit too bleeding edge ... I have
been trying to get 10-STABLE to work, it's fine on the SD card, but it
hangs during boot on the eMMC. However 11-CURRENT boots ok on the
eMMC, but has issues like this.
