Non working, last time I tried:

fdc0: <NEC 72065B or clone> at port 0x3f0-0x3f5,0x3f7 irq 6 drq 2 on isa0^M
fdc0: interrupting at ISA irq 6^M
fdc0: FIFO enabled, 8 bytes threshold^M
fd0: <1440-KB 3.5" drive> on fdc0 drive 0^M

on

FreeBSD 4.9-RC #3: Thu Oct 16 09:25:37 CEST 2003^M
    root at ds10.wbnet:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/DS10^M

Furtheron:

fdc0: <Enhanced floppy controller (i82077, NE72065 or clone)> at port
0x3f7,0x3f
0-0x3f5 irq 6 drq 2 on isa0^M
fdc0: interrupting at ISA irq 6^M

on

FreeBSD 5.1-RELEASE #0: Thu Jun 5 01:42:39 GMT 2003^M
    root at mithlond.btc.adaptec.com:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC^M

I have not tried to use it then, but it was detected .
