TP sleeps all right, but how to wake up?

Hi,
I am running FreeBSD 5.4 STABLE on ThinkPad R40e. acpi.ko is working
for many things (battery status, CPU frequency scaling) now, as
compared to 5.3 which could freeze the system on start-up. Thanks for
the great work. :)
Sleep state S3 works on this system, and I can see the 'crescent moon'
light turn on. But there is no way I know to 'wake up' the laptop
from this state. Even the Power button does not work.
Does anybody know of an alternative?
