aic7xxx timeout errors on boot

Hi!

Sorry that I can't help, but perhaps it's good to know, that you're not
alone with this problem.
I still have exactly the same problem with an Adaptec PowerDomain 2940UW
- the Macintosh version - with an AIC-7880P connected to a 9GB UW
harddisk on linux for PPC.
When using the controller under MacOS, no bugs occur.
So it's definitely a problem in the aic7xxx driver.
