2.2.X+scsi+ide=timeout mystery

Try version 2.2.9 of the kernel - that is the last version of the kernel
that will work for me - anything higher I get timeout errors - only in
this case it's with my SCSI cdrom.

Also, you said it lasts 25-40 seconds - does it then boot successfully?
