Adaptec 7897

Are there any drivers for the above mentioned card?  If not, does anybody
know if and when they are planned for? This is the chipset used on the Dell
PERC2 RAID controller (see
http://support.dell.com/docs/storage/obsidian/specs.htm) and I would like to
try Linux on it.
