全然関係ない話で恐縮ですが……。

ports/chinese/cless
の fetch 先が無反応でソースを入手しにくいようなので、報告します。
> MASTER_SITES= ftp://ftp.cuhk.hk/pub/chinese/ifcss/software/unix/c-utils/

ping の反応もありません。

# make fetch
