For some time (years) I do use a Linux mobile, not with an Adroid, but with a real Debian kernel and software stack. It's the Purism L5 (check https://puri.sm/) The sources are OpenSource and the Purism folks tried to upstream changes they made to Debian Linux. I think, this would be the way to go, port this over to FreeBSD, because the hardware was designed to run a modified Debian. Btw: Even in suspend, the battery drain is still around 8-10% without any use of the mobile; and this was already a big step forward. matthias -- Matthias Apitz, ✉ guru@unixarea.de, http://www.unixarea.de/ +49-176-38902045 Public GnuPG key: http://www.unixarea.de/key.pub Annalena Baerbock: "We are fighting a war against Russia ..."
