No need to be snarky. I think you misunderstood the situation. The package is still not available for 13.1-RELEASE - that's 6 days and counting. I also don't understand how you could categorize a browser as "non-essential". It is part of everyday life of using a desktop computer, and it's not trivial to compile either.
