The hierarchy does not give any added value to the user. If all are defined in one file, maybe put a comment into the file on how to deactivate each of them (like it is already done for FreeBSD) and shortly describe what the purpose is, like FreeBSD-ports: FreeBSD packages prebuild from ports FreeBSD-kmods: FreeBSD kernel modules FreeBSD-base: FreeBSD base packages Maybe also add there a link to the handbook, where that is described on more detail. We should keep the FreeBSD in the name, because if I build my own repos, they do not start with FreeBSD which clearly mark them as my own ones.
