Thank you for the update.  As diizzy has not come forward, I will process it
now.

Please note that OpenMP is not supported on arm, so your patch may cause the
port to fail to build there.  Will proceed with a build test shortly.  You'll
have to make the -lomp link conditional on architecture, or best, detect the
availability of OpenMP and only put it in if supported.
