Also, the wiki reminds us that the FreeBSD Project began publishing official
packages in October 2023. 

A wiki may be rewritten, history cannot :-)

Or can it? freebsd-pkgbase@ may be a good place to discuss the morphing of
perceptions, and so on. If anyone hears munching, there, it'll be me. With
popcorn.
