Probably a glitch after recent update of pkg and latest packages set, should not happen, I saw something like this recently in 2.3.1 where some packages used exclusive dependencies, after build+install problematic packages from ports problem was gone also in pkg. You may want to reinstall IMagick and KDEnLive from pkg and then make install vlc from ports as vlc is the smallest part :-) Btw VLC also allows you to easily transcode videos to different a/v codec and container which may come handy too :-) -- CeDeROM, SQ7MHZ, http://www.tomek.cedro.info
