The problems are machine-independent, it is just that 32bit with
more limited address space and disabled ASLR triggered coalescing
more often (does not matter native 32bit kernel or 32bit userspace
on native 64bit host).

I do think that this deserves EN, but first it needs to be reviewed
and merged to stable branches.  I checked that the problems exist
on stable/14 for sure, I did not looked at stable/13.
