does idprio not respect group members in idletime ?

I tend to use "idprio 0" a lot. However I am seeing this :

     idprio: RTP_SET: Operation not permitted

Even when the user is in the idletime and realtime groups.
Is there something else missing as the manpage says nothing on this.
