I will give it a try, however I did try the sysctl/hint settings that switch
between package and core speed control and that did NOT work.  I will let you
know what happens when I try this however.

Are there any kernel version restrictions on this?  the NUC14 is at 15.1, but
the p16s is still on 14.5.
