Re: KHADAS EDGE V booting hangs if I install UEFI instead of u-boot

I can't give an answer to your questions. They are too advanced. I can only
tell you what I want to achieve. As you can see,the version of FreeBSD
which works on the KHADAS Edge is based on the old 13.x branch. I want to
use the 14.x branch. But I don't have any patch that has been used to
compile u-boot and or UEFI and / or the kernel. What I know for sure is
that the KHADAS has the Rockchip RK3399 such as the RockPro64. So,what I
tried was to place the sd card where I have installed FreeBSD 14.2 on the
RockPro64 to the sd card slot of the KHADAS,to see what would have
happened. What happened is that FreeBSD boots until the login prompt, but at
a certain point, the screen starts to tremble. More or less at this point :

So,I think that there is something to fix in the dtbs of FreeBSD for the
ROckPro64 to be able to use it on the KHADAS. I suspect that isn't too much.

You can see below what are the booting messages displayed by the serial
connection :
