As I've said many times, we should just kill these outdated tools and
use pkg (not make!) to resolve build depends. It is merely a political
decision not technical one. I don't want to push forward towards this
feature in pkg unless I'm sure that it will be really used. For now, we
have been discussing this problem for 3 or 4 years already. And there is
still no clear conclusion about it.
