I too am having this problem but with a Kingston DataTraveler Elite 1GB
usb drive.

In the dmesg of 6.0 CURRENT from Dec 22 I get:

FreeBSD 6.0-CURRENT #0: Wed Dec 22 17:10:48 CST 2004

Which is a little different from the OP.

But in a stock NetBSD 2.0 it works as shown below.

NetBSD 2.0 (GENERIC) #0: Wed Dec 1 10:58:25 UTC 2004
builds at build:/big/builds/ab/netbsd-2-0-RELEASE/i386/200411300000Z-obj...

umass0: at uhub3 port 5 (addr 4) disconnected

If it is any help, it may work in NetBSD 2.0 which might provide a basis
of code to be ported over to FreeBSD.

To get mine to work, I will have to wait for the port over as I am a newbie.

Thanks
