aacraid drives missing after update 10.0 -> 10.1 ?

If your running a custom kernel do you have both the options for aac enable:
device          aac                     # Adaptec FSA RAID
device          aacp                    # SCSI passthrough for aac
(requires CAM)
device          aacraid                 # Adaptec by PMC RAID

If you're missing aacp then you might get the behaviour your seeing.
