Multiple zdevs in the root zpool?

cddl/contrib/opensolaris/lib/libzfs/common/libzfs_pool.c and
sys/cddl/contrib/opensolaris/uts/common/fs/zfs/zfs_ioctl.c  (grep for
the words 'root pool')
