I did an firmware update after I encountered the issue the first time.
Before it was V1.43. Exactly the same behavior.

And yes, I do have to boot off the RAID. After the run_interrupt_driven_hooks
everything hangs and no daX drives are ever detected.  You don't seem to get
this particular error.
