Booting 7.1-STABLE on supermicro 5015-MF (PDSMI+)

I see from the phot that you're running a custom kernel.  What's 
different between that kernel and GENERIC?

Data point:  I'm running 7.1-RELEASE, installed from CD, on a PDSMI+ 
board, but I am booting from SATA.  This may help to rule out possible 
non-IDE issues.

I'm tracking with freebsd-update(8), but there have been no 
kernel updates yet.  It's a fresh install with no kernel or sysctl 
tuning, and hasn't taken any load yet.
