Dell 1850/PERC 4e/Si (Megaraid) with "too many retries" error

This error is harmless as long as you don't start getting other errors about GEOM i/o failures or "indefinite wait buffers".  The problem is that the card can get busy, and the firmware communications protocol for it is prone to timeouts.
