I take it that's the development version of the port?

That's just a generic directive for nginx, as already exists in the 
current mime.types.

Does you have an index.html in the latest log directory? If you do, what 
do you get if you point your browser at it? Using the URL just ending in 
"latest" should do the usual web server tap dance to redirect it to the 
directory form of the URL with a trailing slash and that should pick up 
index.html but will only work if you have an nginx index directive in 
your config. By default nginx won't do that.
