Hadoop + Fuse on FBSD

Hi all,
even though there is no port for Hadoop, I've read in the lucene lists that HAdoop runs fine under FreeBSD. I was wondering if anyone knows the status of Hadoop DFS + Fuse driver [1] under FreeBSD.
