I have used Gibson's Research 'SpinRite' to correct disks before. The
latest version is capable of creating a self booting disk using FreeDOS
as the OS. You can get it here: http://www.grc.com/. You also might want
to download the free 'TIP' aka Trouble In Paradise program to see if
your ZIP drive is headed south.
