ssh Connection refused

So, you have console, we hope?

First, make *sure* that sshd is running...

      $ps -auxv | grep sshd

If it isn't, check /etc/rc.conf, it should say:

     sshd_enable="YES"

What about the firewall, do you have one?

     $ipfw show
