Add the following lines to xorg.conf.new:
In Section "ServerLayout"
  Option "AllowEmptyInput" "Off"
   Option "UseFBDev" "False"
  Option  "UseSIGIO"  "False"

In Section "Monitor"
You will need to add the HorizSync and VertRefresh rates of your monitor.
