Panic on install boot

Thanks - to tell the truth, I installed Debian last night. However, I
haven't quite committed to Debian, so I think I'll give this a shot.
It'd be nice to learn an actual unix.

If I install the 9.0-SNAP image, is there also a way to pull in the
changes to fix the fan issue?

Thanks,
Alexander
