Problems (linux emulation?) building Openoffice 1.1

Sorry to repost, but this problem still exists, and I have determined, with
teh help of kind listmembers, that teh "jail" issue with linx_base is _not_
the cause of this problem.

What can I do to get Openoffice to build on my machine?
