Strange messages when building mail/sendmail

FREEBSD 4-STABLE, ports tree cvsupped 2 hours ago. After putting the
following line in pkgtools.conf

'mail/sendmail' => '-DSENDMAIL_WITH_SMTPS -DSENDMAIL_WITH_SASL2',

running 'portupgrade -Np mail/sendmail' gives the following strange results:

After which the build continues correctly, except for the warning
"DEPENDENCY NOTE: SENDMAIL_WITH_TLS will be enabled to support
SENDMAIL_WITH_SMTPS" being repeated a lot of times.
