OTOH, Broadcom also has a commiter on staff who helps to maintain FreeBSD
drivers (David Christensen - davidch@).  There is a bxe(4) driver in 9.0
and later (albeit missing a manpage) which supports some Broadcom 10G NICs:
BCM57710, BCM57711, and BCM57711E.
