Are you refering to the Input (0), Tuner (1), ... to choose the video source?  
I've just coded up the changes to ffmpeg to do that, but only compiled it, 
and then got busy with real work, so I haven't event tested if it works, 
which is probably a no.  If you want the code to finish hacking, I can send 
it along.
