Thanks. I didn't realize the situation was this bad. I've got a java app 
from a vendor that I wanted to try running from a command line, I'm running 
it on an xp box and it's not doing well. So I thought I'd try a more stable 
and speedy UNIX platform. Nevermind!!!!!
